Zuki Japanese Steakhouse - Mokena

The food at Zuki is fantastic. We tried the Hibachi this time, but we also enjoy their sushi. I highly recommend Zuki for a wonderful evening out.

The sushi was good, but I thought many of the rolls were too similar. As someone from LA, I am accustomed to excellent sushi. Our waitress was polite. It's worth noting that they add an 18% gratuity automatically, which we almost overlooked. I was puzzled by the high total and nearly tipped on top of it. In my experience, restaurants that include an automatic gratuity usually mention it upfront, so I found it strange that it wasn't communicated verbally, especially for a party of just two. Despite this, overall it was a good experience and I would come back again.

Overall, the experience was quite good. However, I hold sushi to a high standard. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean.

Was a fantastic place for date night! Had hibachi and sushi. Both were amazing! All the food was very flavorful, the hibachi show was funny and cool, and the staff were all friendly. A little pricy, but worth every penny.

We came to Zuki on a Friday night. It was busy, but luckily we had reservations. The restaurant was very clean and the service was great. Surprisingly our food came out very fast! We ordered the Chicago, Crazy Summer and the Tiffany. They were all delicious and fresh. For drinks we ordered a Mai Tai and Ginger Margarita, they were just ok, not much flavor and a little too sweet. We stayed a bit to chat and hang out and never felt rushed to leave. Its nice to have a great sushi restaurant so close to home.
