Feedback gevenYesterday afternoon I ordered a meal online for delivery at 7.00 this evening. The restaurant website uses Just Eat , the order was placed, accepted and payment made. However at 5.30 this evening I received a short note from Just Eat that my order had been cancelled and the money refunded. No explanation or apology was offered. We tried to phone the restaurant direct but got no reply so had to find somewhere else to take our booking at short notice.
Love the food, so I would have given 4 to 5 stars, had it not been for the fact that they only accept card payment up until 10pm, even though they close at 11.30pm.
The owner is a fantastic character who really looks after you. The food is as good as it gets. Will definitely visit regularly.
We were all disappointed by the poor quality of the food at this restaurant. The standout item in our set menu, a sizzling fish and seafood dish, was very small in portion size. The duck was extremely overcooked, resulting in a dry and tough texture, and all of the starters were fried.
Finding one hair in your food can be considered an accident, but discovering a whole bunch of them is simply unacceptable.
