We stumbled upon The Old Plough, a serene oasis bathed in sunlight, where we sat outside alongside cyclists taking a break. Enjoying our Guinness and fresh fruit Pimm's, we savored the perfect moment in the sun until more people joined us following a cold marathon. Feeling hungry, we perused the menu and couldn't resist trying some of the sinful yet strongly recommended dishes. Despite the busy crowd, the wait time for our food was surprisingly short and the service remained top-notch.
I had a wonderful experience at this pub managed by such a friendly owner. The food was delicious and the service was quick. I had a great time and appreciated the birthday drink. Thank you!
Excellent service and very good food. not cheap, but ok for surrey. good walks here. brot and butter pudding was delicious.
It can certainly not be too difficult to get the future customer experience right!? welcome with a smile, sit people on a table, offer menus and ask the guests what they want to drink. in my opinion, the greeting puts the ton for the rest. but we came to a warm welcome after we sit and leave for several minutes on our own devices, my wife had to go and find the menus, the beverage order was only taken after I was complained by a member of the team about the bad service of my wife. well done because I was ready to go. the drink order came, but the limette and the limette was much too sweet, so my wife asked for half a pint soda to dilute her drink, it was quickly poured, but the personal did not bring it to the table, so my wife went and got it herself. the only reason we have stayed is to give food for our 3 young children, my wife and I had the beginning that was quite satisfactory. the children had the children fish and chips, which were freshly prepared and not directly from the freezer. the waitress delivered the kinder food and did not ask if she wanted to eat so, so my wife went back and fetched the soße out of the bar. It is interesting because the restaurant was relatiw empty, now we all know why! this is a pub that avoids past glory! I prices 2 stars because eating was quite good, but it is w pricy so should be good. credit to the blonde waitress who seemed to be most on the ball, but unfortunately a person does not make a team.
We enjoyed our stay in plough inn. beautiful and relaxing place to escape with friendly atmosphere and delicious diners.
