They have since transferred to this new location, also along Aguirre St which has more space and in a less crowded area. Their sausage platter selection is always a must-order. Considering that these sausages are just locally produced (as I heard), they will give pricey, imported sausages a run for their money. I usually pair these off with their yummy aglio olio pasta for a great combination. Then some wine or German beer for a great evening.
Haven't tried their food yet but the pictures on the menu compared to price seem reasonable. Nice selection of products to take away too. Guess they were in soft opening then. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will review again after trying the food.
This was the Deli Swiss down the road before, I thought they went out of business, but it is only a relocation and rebranding. When I saw the big Dalmatian cow in front of this shop I knew they're one and the same - not unless Dalmatian cow was sold and the new owner like it the way it is spotted ???? I guess chef is not the same as when we were frequenting the old place since the tastes are totally different. The waitstaff were floundering, which led to a wrong dish served to our table, kept asking if I wanted white bread when I said rye bread. Difficult to catch their attention since they were not attentive. They don't check on customers. As for the food, everything was bland, not the saltless tastelessness. The Aglio E Olio with mixed seafood would have been great since it has a looooottt of seafood BUT, the garlic was burnt, that the bitter aftertaste was overpowering. The seafood mix were overdone that every bit was rubbery chewy. As for the sandwich, what you see in the picture is all that, no mayo or seasoning just a pat of melted butter on one side of the bread and that was it. It was unappetizing, that I only ate half of it. I like the location, it's easy to park when the place is not fully booked. For now it's cash only payment :)
