Monahans Jazz Cafe

This is a very wonderful restaurant in the middle of nowhere. If you go in, you have to wonder if you are in Monahans or in a larger city. The food is really great and the staff is very attentive to serve you. The atmosphere is very pleasant and sometimes when you come, someone plays the piano or something. This is a great place to come when you have a dinner ride or just want to come from Midland, Odessa or an environment.

It was just okay. For the price we expected better. The staff was not friendly and most were sloppyly dressed teenagers. Attire should correspond to the atmosphere. The bread on the zucchini sticks and chicken fried steak was bland and not a good texture. My husband ordered an expensive steak and he said it was not the type he ordered and was not properly cooked. The best part of our meal was salad and vegetables, everything else was very dirty. I never salted my food, but I had to come. The waitress never returned to our table to drink refills or something.

I have eaten here many times, both sit down and go to orders, but only for dinner, not for lunch. The food is always great and made to my order. At first opening the parts were huge, then not, but now the sizes increase. The chicken salad is good, the Jazzburger is amazing, and the Tilapia is delicious. The fried cucumber spits are too small for the price. Don't even let me start in the deserts. However, do not go when you are starving because you are waiting for at least 30 minutes on your meal, probably longer. And it doesn't matter if you have a party of 2 or a party of 6. The staff is very friendly and the dress code is casual.

Charming and tasty, this beautifully renovated restaurant is clean and crisp inside, tastefully decorated with jazz art. They have many delicious entree options that are inexpensive and costly. There is occasionally a waiting so plan your trip wisely.

Love this place. Great food and service. Wish you open s spot in Pecos. Don't get to visit here very often, guys work too much. Really only one decent place to eat in Pecos. Please open a location in Pecos.
