Anshumann Da Dhaba - Monash

I walked into this restaurant second time after my first visit two years ago.Remembered the taste of food since then, no doubt to visit again.Don'd mind the ambience by looking at the cost of food.Quality of taste is no where to match. I have visited top restaurants in Sydney but this one has the authentic Indian taste.Service was quick and staff was approachable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Indian taste and do not want to spend too much. Ignore and ambience and table bookings though.

As the title goes, for me it has been the best Indian food in Melbourne. Been there a couple of times, once in a month atleast. The Naan of theirs is so nice. The place is really crowded and they have another branch on the opposite side of the road too(in case you dint know). Expect a wait of atleast 15 mins before you are seated. Biriyani is not worth it but rest all is good. You will not regret and go back for more

Very bad service. Go there tired from work looking a bit shabby and they will start judging you instantly and staring at you. And NEVER order biryani over here. The rice kind of stinks. The cashier woman is pretty rude and grumpy. I was at the counter when she saw me and just left her place after giving me a look on my tuen making me and 3 other customers wait in line to pay our bills. Minimum eftpos is $15 and is not mentioned anywhere but near the counter. My bill was $13.40 and I had to buy a Coke to round it up to $15.

The biggest mistake you can make is to go to his place for Indian food. The food is priced very cheap and the food quality/service matches the price tag i.e. its is cheap.If you wish to give up North Indian food, go here. The owners just don't have the concept of good food. It seems that the only focus is churning orders and $$. Not at all recommended.

A local favourite and for good reason. Servings are just right, casual atmosphere, like eating at a friends house. Authentic flavours, great freshly made breads to order. for those missing roadside northern Indian food, this is the place to fill the void.
