Maverick's Steakhouse & Grill - Moncton

Would not go out of my way to eat there, but being attached to the hotel made it super easy. Did not have to go out once checked in. Food was good, and fast. A varied selection of wine and beer. very good breakfast.

The greeting and overall staff interaction was very nice. The food however was a let down. As a "high end" steakhouse - they need to work on quality of food equaling the cost. My husband got the chicken fajita was drowned in BBQ sauce, there was hardly and chicken as it was mostly fried vegetables. My burger and fried were good however, there was only BBQ sauce on 1/4 of the burger leaving the rest very dry. Not worth the almost $50 for our dinner. There are other steakhouses in Moncton that are reasonably priced with really good food and great service.

Best service, food is delirious and the staff is friendly and very atentive. Would recomend this restaurant to everyone and the hotel is first class as well.

This resto is way too overpriced. I started at the connected Hotel and the hotel has a green room reward... For every night you don't get your linens changed, they give you a $5 voucher for the restaurant. The only time I stayed for supper during my week long stay was when I had saved up 4 of those vouchers, because it is so expensive. The food is ok... But not great. The first morning I had breakfast here it was amazing. Then the next 4 times, it progressively got worse. At first plan fried potatoes were delicious, by the end of the week they texted like raw potatoes and were barely cooked. Also by the end of the week I want even offered a glass of water when I sat down, which I think you should always get when you are seated. When I asked the waitress for some water halfway through through my dry barely cooked potatoes, she brought me a glass of warm tap water. If not for the convenience during breakfast, I would not eat here.

I think the Tim hortons across the street would be a better choice to eat...Cold food, spotty service and not worth the money...
