Piatto Pizzeria & Enoteca - Moncton

Really, it's hard (or perhaps not possible) to improve this pizza! Every ingredient is superb and cooked at perfection. Wood oven, fast and friendly staff, reasonable price. Thanks!

Our two favourite pizza places are Piattos and Gustos and last Wednesday we were three couples and we reserved a booth , the booths are nice and large and can comfortably seat 3 couples.. The place is clean and music was nice and our waitress was very good. That being said the ladies all found the beet salad seems to be shrinking in size from previous visits and for a price of over $8.00 we were disappointed..Our pizzas were good but the knives are very dull and we felt we had to tear our pizza instead of cut a piece ..Over all it was ok but we really feel you should throw a few more lettuce leaves on your salad to justify the price..Disappointed but will go back.

This WAS my favourite spot to go for lunch. I wrote a glowing review last year. Unfortunately I feel compelled to revise it. I went to Piatto's for the last time yesterday. I was bragging about this spot to anyone who would listen and finally got my husband to come with me to try it out. We each ordered the lunch special soup or salad with a small pizza for $14. My husband had the creamy chicken soup which was delicious and tasted home made. My Caprese salad was ok...but the tomatoes were super thin...much thinner than last year and they were over ripe. Hubby got the all meat pizza and I got my favourite The Margarita. Neither pizza had any cheese on it ( if so it was minuscule). The crust was burnt and super thin. It was too thin to pick up. It was reminiscent of a pita with tomato soup on it. My husband couldn't finish his. I did because I was hungry but I was grossed out the rest of the day for eating it. I kept telling him it was so much better than to the last 3 times I was there! Then I ordered my favourite dessert The Trio. It was a dessert sampler with 3 tarts on it...one chocolate, one lemon, one dulce Le he ( caramel). Instead we got the lemon tart, the Dulce Leche and in the middle was a dime sized piece of flourless chocolate cake...and I mean it was so small it was literally the size of a dime. It was flavourless! The entire dessert was flavourless. My husband had 2 beer, I drank water and our bill came to $55! Our server was excellent. I won't be back. It's a shame as this place was glorious and had so much potential.

This was my first time at Piatto's. The booths are very big and it was strange sitting so far from my spouse, but if you're looking for peace and quiet... Actually I think the booths would be great if you're 4 or 6. We both ordered The Stephanie pizza, mine regular and my spouse had the gluten-free version. I really enjoyed mine and my spouse commented how good the gluten-free crust was.

I love this place. Wood fired pizza is great...love the Stephanie and beet and giat cheese salad. Also love that pizza that I can't pronounce with the spicy sauasage and peppers hot
