Taj Mahal - Moncton

I stopped by Taj for a quick lunch today and had the tandoori chicken, which is one of my favorite dishes from any cuisine. No one does it better than Taj! Many items on their menu are truly world-class, like the chili chicken and chili fish, just to name a couple. And the chai is wonderful too!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited this restaurant. It used to be quite good, and while the food still tastes decent, the quality of service has seriously declined. Thankfully, there are now better options in Moncton, like Tandoori Zaika, which far surpasses this place.

Wow! I happened to park in front of this restaurant while attending an international street art festival, which turned out to be a bit underwhelming. On my way back to my car, the incredible aromas wafting from the restaurant caught my attention and drew me in, especially as my stomach was growling. The staff were all extremely friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. This might just be the best Indian cuisine I've ever had, and I live in Mill Woods, AB!

I honestly don’t understand how this place can get any low reviews at all... Based on my experience, i can’t help but wonder if whoever left them went to an entirely different restaurant.I was here for lunch twice in two days and I think I’ll do my best to come back once more before I leave Moncton tomorrow. The food, the service, everything is simply amazing. I’ve been to excellent Indian restaurants but this place is simply another level.I’ve had the Dal Soup both days and then the Butter chicken as main dish yesterday and the Lunch platter today. Everything was just perfect. Thank you!!

This was an amazing authentic restaurant but the portion should be a bit bigger for the price of the meals and this was a lovely spot for Eid we got Chicken dilbahar Garlic naan chicken biriyani Kulfi Gajrela and Lamb madras! food was awesome and will defs be coming back!
