Smith Mountain Lake Coffee House

It's no secret, I love me some coffee and coffee houses. While I have lived in the area for a few years now, it took me a while to try the SML Coffee House. Lots to love here! Great coffee ?? Yummy deserts and a wide range of pastries ???? and as a bonus, they have spiced apple cider donuts ???? A great family style room with sofas, TVs, and kickin wifi. An inside seating area led to the outdoor patio area. It was cold and gray when we went, so it would be great on a sunny day. Bonus points for being able to make a wide range of fancy pants coffees ?? including a traditional Machiatto.

We were passing by and had never been to this restaurant before. The staff was incredibly friendly, possibly the friendliest place I have ever visited. They even came out and sang happy birthday, and brought out fresh cupcakes.

Had a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were very good and the staff was very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly! Definitely recommend stopping by to order one of their cinnamon buns.

Enjoy your Coffee or Tea with different flavors at the wonderful Lake view,in or out, with high chairs or enjoy the fluffy leather sofa and chairs.. With a delicious variety of cookies,pastries cakes or freshly made food...good selection Menu.. Staff are wonderful,helpful and friendly... Good environment to enjoy your time alone or with family or friends, you can buy lots of things too: Coffee bags,Mugs,candy,Chocolates,t-shirts,....... Menu Prices are reasonable... WiFi available, good parking lot... Enjoy ????

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during the off-season! It's no surprise that it gets busier in the summer, but visiting after Labor Day meant quick service. I highly suggest trying the cold brew with cold foam and adding pumpkin for a tasty fall beverage. The staff is friendly and polite.
