Curry Mahal - Monmouthshire

We had a fantastic meal on Saturday night with family and everyone enjoyed their dishes. We have tried other restaurants, but we always come back to Curry Malal.

I recently ordered a large meal for thirty of my colleagues at this restaurant for a party, and I was very impressed. Even two coworkers who usually aren't fans of Indian food thoroughly enjoyed it. We plan to make this restaurant a regular spot for future gatherings. The curry had a nice consistency and the spices were fresh. Everyone in our group loved it.

I visited Curry Mahal in May, just before they closed for the month. I was surprised because I thought the restaurant had closed down, but I heard from my friends that it is a family-run business and that they would be returning. I was recommended to try the curry from here as it is the best in the village, so I did. I honestly loved the food here and I am ashamed that I did not notice this place earlier. I am happy to say that I will be back when they reopen after their month-long break. I have been eagerly waiting for them to reopen.

I stopped in about 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday evening to place a pickup order for 20 minutes. The staff did an excellent job of getting the order done on time and the food was exceptional, I ordered a peanut butter korma a keema fried rice, chips, keema naan and peshwari naan and the staff also chucked in extra popadoms which I was pleased about. I will be returning for more.
