Indian Empire - Monmouthshire

Came on a Saturday night as a treat post Covid. Lovely food, staff were friendly and although a busy Resturant the food came in good time with quality and taste still being preserved. We had Lamb Makhani, Lamb Captains Curry, Pilau Rice and Sag Aloo. All very nice. Will be back!

Spur of the moment visit as we were passing luckily we were early so booked and got in but it soon got busy in the restaurant and for take-away. Curry dishes and Peshwari nans were delicious with very prompt and efficient service. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we were glad that we stopped !

Came here to have a nice 21st birthday meal with my family with two young family members . Staff were extremely rude from the get go after asking for one high chair , to be told no, as they only had one and it was in use !! No apology nothing , followed by you should have brought your own and that you didn’t say when you booked (when there was no option when booking online and never got a phone call as mentioned !! Then waiting ages and even asking to have our food order to be taken and be told not at the minute . I used to come to the restaurant all of the time but my goodness has it changed , will not be a returning customers sadly due to the staffs attitude.

Went for the Sunday buffet which we really enjoyed. The traditional dishes were appreciated and enjoyed by our Asian friend. As ever the staff were friendly and attentive

When arriving, you will welcome into the restaurant. And seated, I took my family of five for a buffet. On first impression, the flavours and the smells are beautiful the the food tasted very well but the most massive letdown was all the food was cold
