Mardy Fish Chips - Monmouthshire

Had two of the specials, Crispy Chilli Beef and Spiced Crispy Lamb Kofta. Both meals were amazing. Flavourful and filling. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely be returning.

Really really good food! Not your average takeaway at all! Let alone your average fish chip shop. So many things you can have, aside from the normal fish chips. Everything cooked to a really high standard, with an interesting changing menu. Friendly staff, who love a natter with you while they cook. Top marks Dai!

We thought We'd try this chippy with the new owners. To start with the frier was rude after I asked a courteous question about where I was parked. The quality of the food was dreadful, fish was disgusting. It was very expensive too! I'll avoid it here at all costs in future. Such a shame given what it used to be like!

First time trying under the new ownership (as I was just oblivious) and was immediately waylaid by the street food options. So instead of my regular fish’n chips, I went for Korean crispy pork belly with noodles and I do not regret it. It was finger-licking delish. Will have to pop in a bit more frequently with so many more moorish options.

Great to have a proper chippy in Abergavenny. No grease in sight. Great tasty food with several special that are unique and delicious. Great service and price. Will be a regular visitor now that we've found it! Highly recommend and will spread the word.
