Tenuta Gemi - MONOPOLI

Spent a lovely afternoon learning how to make the local pasta ‘orecchiette’ in the most wonderful location with friendly, welcoming hosts. Loved the hand washing ceremony beforehand, and the music and dancing afterwards! Then in the evening, enjoyed said pasta as part of a fabulous meal with delicious wine!

This was our third attempt to get to this restaurant and it was well worth the wait. The set menu was delicious and sufficient without being excessive. The hosts were informative and attentive, without being a nuisance. The local musicians were really good and the evening was capped off by an astrologer who set us his telescope so we could look at the moon and saturn. He later gave a presentation which we could just about follow as our Italian is still not that good. At €30 a head it was excellent value. We shall definitely be returning.

We visited Gemi for a sunday dinner. We were six adults and two children from Sweden. The food was really, really good and the wine super. We enjoyed the day and it was very fun with all music and games! It gave us all a very nice memory from the holiday in Puglia! Fantastic people who works there! Thank you!

Lo scorso anno Ho celebrato la prima comunione di mio figlio, era tutto perfetto. siamo tornati domenica scorsa e siamo stati fine, verde passa controllata, locale ben ventilato, spazio tra i tavoli e il personale con maschera. ottimo cibo senza lasciare il vino. consigliato!
