Daily Press - Monroe

Really disappointed in the service I got today. I have been a customer for years, however in the last two years I worked to far away to enjoy it. I just started a job right down the street from Daily Press and I was excited to go in and get some great food and have a great experience like I remembered. Well the food was still amazing, however the service was very lacking from the checkout to the meal hand off. First the cashier #11 ignored me asking for the Senior citizen discount, then once the food was prepared the server didn't speak at all to me and just slammed the food on the counter. I hate that because I really always enjoyed patronizing this place.

I did expect the eggs to be real not powdered or poured out of a box.However the bacon was excellent as well as the butter croissant. Excellent staff and serviceFood: 5/5

Breakfast burrito and a frappe were great. Fresh made everything. Friendly staff. Made the day a lot better

The woman at the restaurant boasted about how amazing the cinnamon rolls were. However, I would advise against buying one—it's truly awful. Food rating: 1/5.

The staff was friendly, but unfortunately, our lattes were quite disappointing. The menu was very limited, and the breakfast options were just average. I was hoping to experience something local, but if you're in search of a great cup of coffee, it might be better to just head to Starbucks.
