Joey's Moon Lake Marina - Monroe

We will certainly return. There aren’t enough stars to adequately describe our experience. Everyone—literally everyone—was incredibly kind. The food was excellent. Joey and his son were very helpful when we encountered problems with our RV. We highly recommend trying to secure a spot by the water; it was beautiful with a lovely breeze.

The steaks were excellent! A bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it for a spontaneous date night!

The restaurant has an excellent Louisiana river atmosphere, complete with nice burgers and cold beer. The marina is charmingly old school, constructed entirely of wood. There's plenty of boat traffic, and it's accessible by car as well. People stroll around barefoot or in swimsuits, adding to the laid-back vibe.

We stayed a few nights at Joey's and he made us feel at home, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, he let us chop our own firewood. Will definitely be back in the near future.. Thanks Joey!!!

Everyone is friendly and fun. Love it here and would highly recommend to everyone. Whether it is just for the day, a night, a month or longer.
