Sam's Southern Eatery - Monroe

We decided not to enter the restaurant as it appeared to be closed and out of business. The windows were covered in streaks that looked like they were halfway cleaned, and the grass landscaping was overgrown. There was only one car parked outside, which made the place seem very creepy. After circling the restaurant, we decided to leave.

I've dined at the restaurant in Monroe, but I will never eat at the one in West Monroe again after the poor service we experienced the last two times (even after giving them another chance). The Monroe location has a kind woman at the register who goes above and beyond for customers, engaging in friendly conversation and ensuring prompt and accurate service. The food is always served hot and delicious.

The food at this restaurant is delicious! Despite its appearance, the extremely kind waitress took our order and provided helpful suggestions. We will definitely be coming back.

Food is good. They give you plenty to eat. Employees are nice but hurried when they interact with their customers.

May look a lil shabby but was AMAZING eats!! Don't let the outside fool you, the food is better than good!!!
