The Rolling Tamale - Monroe

Don’t have the pork for lunch special at 11:30. Most of the time we come by they are closed. This is the last time I come here. I don’t see how they are even still open. The food is good when they have it and are open. This is also not the first time have been out of food. So disappointed. I really wanted to like this place and did at first.

Those Tamales came all the way back to Florida with me right after Thanksgiving. Still delicious ?I bought 8 dozens so if you like spicy food you would want to buy. I will be back for more. Thank you

I enjoy the food but I just wish I knew their hours. They never seem to be open after I get off work they don’t have any hours posted.

Real ReviewI ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, a chili dog, and a soft taco. The following would have made my order perfect.1. Vegetable texture. The cheesesteak smelled delicious. It was the highlight of the bag. It only needed softer veggies, maybe smaller cut, to be just right (personal preference .2. Gloves. I would love for the cook to be wearing gloves, especially because I can't see the kitchen area. But due to covid, I already pop food in the oven just in case.3. Weiner quality. I would rather spend a little more on a hotdog with a slightly higher quality weiner or there's no point. Everything else about it was good.4. Chorizo. Though I didn't feel the texture of chorizo in the soft taco, I got an aftertaste of the flavor. Plain meat/seasoning would be a little better in my opinion.5. Salsa. The salsa cup was watered down and bland. Probably the least appealing item, but it wasn't needed :

I ordered a baby fruit tray for my son and daughter-in-laws baby shower. It was beautiful and the fruit was very fresh. People at the shower made many wonderful complements about it! I would highly recommend The Rolling Tamale for any catering needs.
