Denunzio's Italian S - Monroeville

Mother's day buffet was a disappointment. Kids buffet for 15.99 was mini corn dogs, Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. Chicken romano was dry and flavorless. My 88 year old grandmother deserved better than cold food and false advertising prime rib, fried shrimp and pork medallions for $35 dollars. Mac salad and shrimp were decent. Meatballs were good.

This is the second time that I've been there and the person behind the bar was very rude. I went there to get a $100 gift card and waited almost 10 mins before I was acknowledged. A lady walked in behind me and the waiter immediately went to her although clearly he could see me standing there. I said politely that I was there before her and he immediately raised his voice and said everyone is going to wait So rude and so uncalled for I walked out without getting the gift card. Will gladly spend $100 somewhere else where they are polite to their customers.

This is a review for THIS visit because previous visits are typically 4- or 5-stars. They were NOT on their game tonight. Calamari appetizer was cold and rubbery. Replacement was fresh. Everyone at our table (eight people) received their dinner but me. Waitress said it was on its way (three times). By the time my meal arrived, the rest of the table was close to finishing. It was fine, I didn't mind. My salmon was a little burned on the outside and cool raw in the middle. Sent it back and asked them to just finish cooking it and just box it to go. When I got home, the salmon was now overcooked, dry and hard. Me thinks it just wasn't my night. Because of the problems at the table, they did comp us all a quart of wedding soup... But, our anniversary dinner did not go as planned. We'll try again in a few months.

Best Italian restaurant I've been to yet. The sauce is my favorite by far!

Great eating, I had the aubergine and cake cannot describe the taste. I'm sorry that mom was better. lonely, our server was very nice to take part in our needs. will try other dishes again. I love this place.
