Moio's Italian Pastry Shop

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but I was overwhelmingly disappointed. When I walked in, I thought I had found an Italian Pastry Paradise and wanted to try everything on the menu. However, I settled for a few of my favorites and realized I would need to come back to fully enjoy all the delicious options. The box of cookies was not worth the $30 price tag. The only good pastry was the Roman Cannoli; the Tonymisu was inedible due to an overwhelming taste of liqueur or extract. The regular Cannoli was gritty and tasteless, and the Eclair had excellent chocolate on top but the custard inside was bad. I felt like I wasted a lot of money, feeding the garbage can instead of enjoying my meal. I hope they do some taste testing during the process because the place looks amazing and I want it to be amazing. I will give them another chance in the future and hope to change my review for the better.

I'd post photos of my purchases (Eclair and cream puff) but they were devoured before I had the chance! Anyway, this place is the real deal for fabulous Italian cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats. A must fir the sweet tooth in you!

I'm obsessed. The desserts are just stunning. And the staff is so kind and accommodating. They always are smiling and working so efficiently. Their love and attention to detail shines in every way possible. I'm adding it to my bucket list to try everything they make!!

The carrot cake is the standard by which I judge all carrot cakes. So far, no one has come close. By far a 24k carrot cake! The other cakes are good too.
