The falafel platter was outstanding, and the hummus and pita appetizers were also fantastic. There was another appetizer—I can't recall its name—but it was like a potato turnover and it was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were great and nicely strong. I can't wait to go back!
I discovered this gem while exploring Monrovia. The falafel was hands down the best I've ever tasted. I also loved the red sangria. I will definitely be coming back!
I had a fantastic late lunch at this restaurant! The chicken kebab was served with rice pilaf, which was a refreshing alternative to basmati. The chicken was well-marinated, perfectly cooked, and incredibly moist and flavorful. The hummus was excellent as well! I would definitely come back when I'm in the area!
Never ever had a bad meal here. The chef knows what's up. You get more than enough food per plate, so you're beyond full, yet, it's soooo good you want more. I recommend this place to everyone.
I started with the baba ghanoush, which cost $9. It was made from roasted eggplant mixed with spices and drizzled with olive oil, served with warm pita bread cut into triangles for easy dipping. Honestly, it was so good that I ended up spreading the baba ghanoush on the pita bread. For the main meal, I opted for their lunch specialties, specifically the Mediterranean wrap combos available on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. I chose the seasoned beef shawarma wrap for $14, which featured sliced filet mignon cooked with seven spices. It was grilled to perfection and rolled up with fries, tomatoes, pickles, and tahini sauce. I have to admit, the meat was so well-seasoned and delicious that I didn't even realize it was well done until later. I enjoyed half of it and took the rest home. I also ordered a lule kebab wrap for takeaway, which also cost $14. It was made from ground beef mixed with spices, marinated, and grilled, then wrapped with salad, tomatoes, and hummus. I ate it the next day, and it was more than enough for me; I could only manage to eat half. The flavors exploded in my mouth, making me want to savor every bite—microwaving it didn't even diminish the taste. For dessert, I had their baklava, which came with two pieces for $4. It was perfectly sweet without being overwhelming, and paired wonderfully with my orange-spiced hot tea. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restroom was clean. I found street parking easily. The restaurant also accepts reservations and walk-ins, making it suitable for groups, parties, and takeout or catering options. They provide table service and offer seating. Their business hours are as follows: closed on Mondays; open Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM; Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM; and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
