Feedback gevenThis is the very best hot chocolate we had in Montreal ever (hmmm, actually, for the last 17 years, since we moved to Montreal). Our comparative group is number of cafes around Opera in Paris ("famous" Angelina not taken into account - as it evolved into a rip-off tourists operation, in our opinion). Cappuccino is among the best ones in Montreal too. There are stuff (chocolates, cookies, sandwiches, etc) mostly from Europe for everyone's taste. Either summer (has small outside terrace) or winter (nice and cozy indoor environment) it is our once-a-week must go place, as we do live in the neighborhood, but, it might not be a bad idea to get to visit the place, at least once ...
They have great ice cream with salt chocolate 70pc as well as baileys caramel and many other toppings . Great for coffee and tea also
Its perfect for our whole family. Parents love the coffee, kids love the ice cream and the midday crowd love the soup and sandwiches. Delicious Belgian chocolates and last minute gifts available. Nice terrace for fine weather but summer doesn't last half enough.
We go regularly to this place. The owner Said is very kind and generous. Needless to say that the Belgian chocolate is one of the best in the world and specialy Leonidas. In summer a variety of delightful ice creams and in winter all hot drinks are very tasty. The pastries are unique.
We come here often, not only for the great coffee and sweets, but also for the daily lunchtime specials, including yummy homemade soups ans sandwiches. The owner and his wife always deliver great service and always make us feel welcome. They have a great terrace with ample seating and stay open late on weeknights.
