I prodotti sono freschissimi e arrivano direttamente da giù, con certe esclusività...che ti fanno scaldare il cuore. un pò come se si andasse direttamente dallo zio pugliese, in trasferta e ti rimpinzzasse di delizie a cui non sai dir di no! we will see you next time! the owner and his team are as special as focaccia pugliese they offer, weeping and also their gastronomic dinner, where they can taste with huge portions of meal times pointed dishes from southern Italy. they will fall in love with products they will try. it is a kind of experience that they have to do as they go on holiday to their oncle out puglia and he feeds them how Italian style can do.
The owner, gianni, brings it into a journey of aromen and quality that they will not forget. there are many deli towns like this in italia, but this is a secret gem, because it is only the best Italian product in any category, plus the regional and city specialities. it is not a case that it has only star critique so far. we had dinner there, and for eur I had eaten the impossible and drunk. you can't go wrong with that.
I was here last week at a tour through veneto in our slum week. the location is simply excellent with the majestic view of the dom of this beautiful medieval village, which is less than an hour. with the train of venedig, padua and verona. we were greeted by gianni and his beautiful woman laura with a selection of olive, focacia and brunette with award-winning cherry tomatoes. we then drove to a huge plate of salami and lard from norcia and the prestigious prosciutto cruddo from montagnana. the selection of cheeses from apulia, the elfenbeinasiengo and the excellent months parmesan were the forge on the cake. not to mention primitivo, a red wine from apulia, which doubles its price. after the check, which was surprisingly cheap, we were even offered a dish of animanera, a delicious licorice liqueur. very recommended.
We were looking for cold cuts and we found what we wanted and much more! big bruschettas and focaccias from the tasting list. excellent selection of different types of prosciutto, salame and cheese. nothing comes from the large industry only craft production. they managed to collect the crème de la crème from the Italian top producers. friendly environment with the owner who comes to the tables to talk about the features and origin of the products.
True Italian specialities house-hand-artistic-made originals, with superb wine selection at accessible prices and down to earth approach. A beautiful tasting experience.
