Castello Banfi La Taverna - Montalcino

As we enjoyed our dinner in the banfi restaurant so much we decided to return to their taverna for lunch. it was a very good choice. the room itself is the traditional tuscany castle hall. we are pleased that a huge as banfi has the flowing and... power to eat an eye on details, excellent customer service, very good quality. the crispy egg was brilliant and pasta was so beautiful that I didn't love to eat it first. fortunately, the taste was as good as the look tiramisu was very good- crispy outside, creamy inside well made. we were lucky to have the same waiter today as in the evenings. so the service was brilliant again. once again – our greetings to the chef domenico, the waiter and the whole team. we will be coming back

My wife and I came to the restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and we were very happy that we did it! we recommend them! we started the evening with an aperitif of prosecco and homemade brotsticks on their terrace. it was the beginning of a wonderful. After we were able to enjoy our prosecco on the terrace, we went to our table and enjoy more of our welcome drink. our evening was unforgettable, so made by the wonderful eating, wine, service. we enjoyed especially all the small tasty we were served in the run of our dinner, starting with our inviting amuse bouche, to the petit four (competition seven actually and the last sharing gift. our greeting to the cook domenico! to supplement the meal, was the service of olga and her team impeccable! many thanks that they make it for a special evening for us both!

From the drive up to the property to leaving we loved every minute. Lunch set menu with wine was exceptional, we were offered an extra top up of wine with each course which was appreciated as the wine is amazing. Every course was exceptional, service...was first class. We were not charged extra for water or additional wine, grappa and coffee. This place is definitely recommended for a great long lunch experience in a Tuscan Castle. Will return for sure.

A visit to the winery for a tasting followed by lunch. We were greeted by Pamela (owner of Banfi with her husband) who was absolutely fantastic and so welcoming despite the size of the winery Pamela made it feel like a family affair. We...had a great wine tasting with Lisa which was followed by lunch. Our group loved the experience and personal care. Recommend.

What a special place! Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous grounds (we stayed at the Castello farmhouse) and amazing wine. We had a course lunch paired with Banfi wines, OMG! What an experience. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Unforgettable afternoon. Highly recommend it.
