Now to clarify: there are two restaurants in this hotel and some of the reviews sound like a little mix up between the two. So this is for the excellent gourmet restaurant: We have been to wonderful places before. Also in this year’s trip. But this small (6 tables only) feeling like home place is superb for two reasons: 1. The food is absolutely outstanding. Creative, innovative, super rich in flavors, stunning in presentation. Absolutely world standard. 2. The staff from the chef to the maitre to the sommelier to the server. All are extremely well trained and experienced and super knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu. The two pre set menus are exciting, the second (slightly more expensive) one is more for fish and super delicious. We would also recommend to go with the wine paring as this was another fantastic experience! Overall … 6 stars!!!

This weekend I had a great experience at the Il Brunello restaurant, a private restaurant (only 6 tables) inside the stunning Castello di Velona Hotel. The quality of the food and the presentation of the dishes makes this restaurant deserve a Michelin Star for sure!

This is the place for you if you would like to spend some quality time with your lived ones. We stayed in the castle for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience, the staff is very welcoming and friendly always there when you need them, the breakfast was delicious with different choices to choose from and also the food and wine from the restaurant was excellent with the best service. The Spa is very beautiful place to calm and relax in their thermal pools and the view is enchanting! Although it's an old castle they also have modern rooms with an excellent view too.The design of this amazing castle is incredible, it has a particular look of transitional design and modern design. Would like to thank all the staff who were there 24/7 for us and made this experience excellent !
