It was my favourite restaurants when I lived locally and I don't miss a single opportunity to visit it when I'm in the area. One of the few restaurants survived in what was once the favourite eatery on the Roman Alban Hills. The family that runs the place is attentive to their customers and they've been friends of mine since they very first year I lived there. Food goes from seafood to meat to game. Their local wine had nothing to envy to best known brands. Portions are massive so, during my last visit I had to reduce the intake due to age. I recommend Paccheri allo Scoglio, Linguine all'Astice, Mussles,, sautéed clams, sautéed chicory, fried prawns and cuttlefish, the Florentino steak and their grilled vegetable mix. The last location is the same as the one they moved the second time and cannot be easily spotted from the main Tuscolana Road. Prices are great and it's the best value for money you can possibly get in Rome and environs. Enjoy Roberto, Chiara and Emanuele's hospitality and you will definitely be back. Oh forgot. Desserts. Try the fragolosa and the cioccolosa. You will be craving it for ages!
The sea food as well as meat is simply terrific the dish arrives aesthetic and the taste is perfect, the place is a bit noisy due to families celebrating, prices are reasonable. It pays to visit and enjoy.
They really care about the customer! with a nice parking available, this place I think that house relevance comes in very quiet and cozy! the staff welcomes you pleasantly and is always close and available fish theme and meat offers everything! we tried the start of the house, a beautiful first pappardelle and gnocchi) and a nice cut of beef with sweet finish all the gooses and arrived in fast times a good mooring of scansano
Recommended by our host. And yes worth it. Great value. House wine is good, turbut (fish) excellent!
Sunday lunch without too much pretense, booked at the last moment in the dark, relying only on the nearest restaurants according to google maps. the place is a little hidden from the Tunisian road, in front of the road that then leads to a priory fortress, and there are no signs. entering you immediately appreciate the fireplace to see, and the meat fridge that already alone unveils a little the strong piece of the offer. There is a wide choice of first and second meat, sincerely I do not understand the fish proposal so underlined, even for the place where you are and was nothing else for the name of the club, which I think has nothing to do with it. in any case, portions quite abundant but not exaggerated, genuine cuisine without frills (I went only on meat,) cut to the grill with porcini mushrooms was not at all bad, even if a wire too cooked. excellent choice of wines, they do not have the classic quartino of the house but they serve both in glasses or bottles even discreet without too many embroidery. friendly staff and fast service, clean room. average account
