Her house, or rather mansion, is French; and not just in style. The villa was actually built in France and then later relocated to its current spot in 1895.Unfortunately, time has not been kind to the villa. While it still stands, the effects of age on the structure are clear.
Pure history. This historic house, icon of the city of Montecristi, was owned by the Vasquez family, formed by the former president of the Dominican Republic Horacio Vasquez and Emilia Jiménez.

I often pass in front of it and I'm in pain in the heart of seeing it so dilapidated. I might visit her someday and I'll put pictures.
