Golden Skewer - Montebello

This restaurant was outstanding. I really enjoyed the salmon here and plan to become a regular at this wonderful establishment. The service was also excellent.

I’ve been dining at Golden Skewer for the past 18 years, ever since it first opened. I was initially worried that the new ownership wouldn’t maintain the high standards set by the previous owners, but I’m pleased to say that nothing has changed. The food is still absolutely delicious and remains the best Armenian Mediterranean cuisine in all of Los Angeles. Give the new owners a chance; I highly recommend this restaurant! Additionally, the banquet hall is stunning and will surely impress your guests.

I've been dining here for years, and the food has always been fantastic. The recent change in ownership inspired me to write a review because the service has significantly improved! Karla and her team are quick, friendly, and very attentive. The food remains authentic and incredibly delicious, and the slight modifications to the menu offer some refreshing new options. It's clear that their focus is on delivering an excellent customer experience. They also have a newly remodeled banquet hall available for events. Don't overlook this hidden gem!

Although the restaurant changed owners some time ago, tonight was a delightful reminder of how great the food is. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I will definitely return more often. I really enjoyed my experience!

A Hidden Gem! The flavors here are incredible—I couldn't believe how good they were! The meat cuts are juicy, and even the salads are kid-approved, which is a bonus. You can really taste the authenticity of the cuisine. The classy atmosphere and even the restroom make it an ideal spot for business meetings, family gatherings, or dates. The banquet room is also outstanding.
