Feedback gevenI'm not a mall rat, so this place is quite good, the ONLY, alternative to the Mall-Crapola selections in the food dish, which is located in the center of the mall anyway waaay over. This joint is located right next to Macys at the lower level and is located directly below the nail salon I often. Location is everything and that makes for a fairly comfortable Trifecta on any week night. Love the mood in there – blowing music and cool looking, a mainly friendly hot, sushi cook. I usually get out because I have other shops to take part in the Trifecta. I'm still a fan of roles because I'm not one for rice dishes or Yakitori. As a rule, I get a spicy tuna and salmon skin handroll as I do everywhere. However, the seaweed paper that they somehow use seems gum-like when I'm ready to eat it. Hmm, maybe it is absorbed whatever sauces they used? (This place is great when using sauce for presentation. So if I bite it, I have to wear it, which makes a total mess. It is still good because of the inner ingredients and you get a huge doll of Sashimi that is beautiful. But I prefer the seaweed paper that seems to be crumbling when bitten. Your miso soup is actually quite good and does not taste like it was made with an instant pack a minute ago. I like my miso soup to have a clear white broth and not insert like a lot of fog in it. I have some of their roles, the sexy role, the dynamite, California roll, etc. Not the best place and from FAR from the worst place, but who can argue with a well located Trifecta? Some evenings after a long day at work, sometimes good enough is just fine.
