We absolutely love this place, when we are in town it's a definite for us. Mama Maria and her daughter, are the perfect duo. The food is amazing, it takes time, but, that's what makes it so authentic. If you're looking for fast food, you will not find it here. You will not be disappointed.

If the taste of the food alone were being reviewed here, this would be a 5 star rating. If the review were based solely on service, I would give it a 1 star rating. My husband and I ate there twice during our stay in Montecatini. On the first visit, we SO enjoyed the food that the horrible service was forgotten. The woman who runs the 'front of house ' service took our order quickly enough. But even though we were one of only two tables needing service, she could not be bothered to ask if we wanted more wine, water or food. On the other hand, her mother, an 88 year old woman, is the cook and she definitely knows her craft. We had pizzas and gnocchi. Both wonderfully flavorful.. The second visit was basically the same, except the service was even worse. If you decide to visit this restaurant, I suggest you have a bit of a snack before you go. The wait could make you very, very Hangry.

In one word: Fantastico. The staff is very kind and attentive. Family atmosphere, as if we were guests in the kitchen of a real Italian family. The food is homemade, made from the heart, by the hands of a real Italian mamma

Saturday evening, in full swing comedies, we booked a table at the venue a few minutes in advance and we are told that our table was occupied by previous guests, delayed for more than minutes. the owners were extremely kind, knowing that the wait was long they asked us if we wanted to wait or leave and in the meantime they offered us (sometimes despite our first waste) a glass of prosecco. excellent dinner: meat cutter (bens) for people, first (goods,) second of meat between cutter and whole steaks (good meat, melted in mouth) salad chips, water and a bottle of chianti more euro per head. between the first and the second we waited a lot but so all the dishes arrived at the table together, ready in time. the kitchen is good, but what we most appreciated is the availability and courtesy of the owners, here the customer was at the center of attention at all times. If we have a chance to come back!

Very nice place discovered by chance while we were looking for a place in montecatini that was not touristy or the usual pizzeria. the food is excellent, so much so that we returned twice during our short holiday. excellent and cooked to perfect the fillet, very good before and appetizers, and a real chicca the fried porcini mushrooms that were really fresh mushrooms cut coarsely and not some frozen anonymous preparation. promoted, not to very full votes only because the wait was really long, even if repaid by the quality of food (and wine and the family and family atmosphere that was created with the owner and waitresss.
