I really liked the iced jasmine green milk tea at 50%. I also got it with the firm grass jelly, which is unique and complimented my drink well. They came in cute little cubes. The iced jasmine green tea at 50% sugar had a good strong tea flavor. The mango green tea with lychee jelly was way too sweet even at 25% sugar. I also liked that they were easily accessible on UberEats, especially during COVID. ?
GET THE MATCHA TOFFEE (less sugar). It's so good! This place is very cute and decently priced. All the drinks are extremely pretty, too. Located in Hayes Valley, this is a must if you have a sweet tooth or want a dessert drink.
I absolutely adore this café! While coffee shops may be plentiful, finding a truly exceptional tea spot can be quite challenging. This hidden gem is located on the corner of Green Street and De Lacey Avenue. I stumbled upon it last week on my way back to the office and decided to stop in for a cup of tea. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the menu offers much more than just tea; there were so many options with names I had never heard before. I found myself faced with a difficult decision. The staff, who were incredibly friendly, asked me what I was in the mood for and suggested the fruit tea medley.
This restaurant is clean, has plenty of open spaces, and serves good drinks. I didn't get to try their snacks, but I hope to do so soon. It is interesting to note that on Yelp, this place is listed as Ten Ren, but here it is called Tea Ginseng. They have a wide selection of teas, as can be seen in the background of the picture. I look forward to trying their loose leaf tea soon.
