3 Mundos Sandwich Shop - Monterey

Mundos has the best sandwiches! Whenever we are in Monterey, we always make sure to stop at Mundos to grab a bite. My husband's favorite is the tri-tip Cubano sandwich. The service is quick and efficient, perfect for a take-out lunch. The prices are very affordable, ranging from $1 to $10 per person. We highly recommend trying the Mundos Cubana with tri-tip - it's a must-try! Overall, we give the food and service a 5-star rating, with the atmosphere scoring a 4.

I ordered two Mexican Philly sandwiches. My guest remarked that there was more vegetables than meat for the price. I had the Chicken Bacon sandwich and it was delicious. Instead of receiving potato salad, we got macaroni salad which was on the sweet side. I prefer a more savory taste. Despite this, I still enjoy dining at this restaurant.

This restaurant review is based solely on customer service. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to try the food because DoorDash was unable to retrieve the order after a 45-minute wait. When I called to inquire about the status of my order, I was hung up on multiple times before finally being answered by a woman who was short and extremely rude. She offered no apology for the wait, citing busyness as the reason, and promptly hung up. Even the DoorDash driver confirmed witnessing the phone call being answered and immediately hung up. The experience was completely unacceptable.

This restaurant is a convenient option with sandwiches of decent quality! The ordering process was quick and efficient, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Our sandwiches arrived in about 10 minutes, and we enjoyed them in the charming outdoor seating area. I opted for the hawaiian BBQ pork and chicken tuscany sandwiches. The BBQ pork had a delicious sweet taste with real pieces of pineapple mixed in. It was quite tasty! The tuscany sandwich was also good, but lacked enough sauce. It was a bit dry, especially since the bread wasn't very moist. In general, this is a good spot for a quick meal, but the sandwiches weren't the best I've ever had.
