Alvarado Street Brewery - Monterey

I had the tempura artichoke burger and fries. It was very flavorful. There were two other very clear options: the hummus platter which had some interesting spice additions and a tempura cauliflower platter. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed our dinner here.

Although the seating sucks here, the food and drink are decent.

I got the vegan Beyond burger which had vegan aioli and vegan cheese in it it was amazing! The beer selection was also great.

If I were eating on food alone I would give them a 3/5. They are very pricy and they use beyond (doesn’t taste seasoned or anything) but the bun and dressings are good and they have vegan cheese. Their drinks are amazing. I don’t drink any beer or ipa because I hate the taste but theirs are so good. Literally the only place I will drink at. They have an indoor restaurant and an outside beer garden. The atmosphere here is amazing and pretty unique for Monterey. This is an awesome place to come to on a Friday night with friends. Highly recommend if you are a drinker. If you’re coming for just the food I would skip over it.
