Cafe Lumiere - Monterey

This place had a 4.5 star in Yelp and I wanted to try their coffee before I left home. This place is located in a cinema. I ordered Mocha and Latte. Both coffees tasted great. The service was a little slow. Your menu is very simple and they use local beans. We support local breeders. A great experience.

Excellent food, reasonable price with a French flare. All our meals were great. The music was cool. Many students study. Total Chill Killer Vibe.

Fun little cafe we found walking around Monterey in a theatre. The boutique style of the café took our attention. Yummy oat milk latte and friendly staff. A neat brother-in-law for sale!

I love this place. Very unique atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! Not what you would expect in a café/film theatre. The espresso is also consistently good. I like to sit on the terrace and take in the ambience of today's Monterey, while I look at his past and future.

Ordered a cappuccino and apple turnover--they were nothing extraordinary, but delicious nonetheless. Outdoor seating was plentiful and pleasantly quiet. The staff didn't seem particularly friendly (no smiling or eye contact), but service wasn't bad and the quality of the coffee was great.
