Chipotle Mexican Grill - Monterey

I recently noticed that the burritos at this restaurant have gotten smaller. They also raised the price and decreased the portion size. I was disappointed.

I entered the restaurant and waited for 5 minutes before being helped. I requested a bowl but was served hastily, with brown rice being spooned into it three times as if it were done carelessly. The same rushed service was given for the toppings and sauces without any explanation. Even the dessert bowl was only half full, leaving me puzzled as to why I was ignored. Another staff member accused me of not paying for a drink, and then walked away without giving me one. They did not have any lemonades available. The tortillas were overcooked and the rice was hard, almost as if it had been sitting out for a while. It seems like this restaurant only caters to clueless tourists. I waited for an hour to receive cold food when I ordered to-go.

I ordered a bowl with brown rice at the restaurant. I was disappointed to find that my bowl was only half full and that the rice was stale. I paid $14.00 for this disappointing meal. The workers seemed too busy joking around to make fresh food. I will not be returning to Chipotle again. I regret taking a bite of the food.

This place gets routinely wrong orders, which is particularly impressive when they do this when we are in person.

Dude puts too much hot sauce but whatever. Everything always seems good.
