Grandma's Kitchen - Monterey

We visited for my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed! The portions were huge, and the food was hearty and delicious. We will definitely be returning!

My friend and I were looking for a late breakfast, and since all the other breakfast spots were closed by 2:30, we decided to give this place a try. The food here is absolutely fantastic! I ordered a large ham and eggs, while my friend opted for the eggs Benedict. The service really made our day—our waitress Mary, who was on her first day, was a real delight and had us laughing the whole time. And Pedro clearly stands out; he’s not just a cook but a true leader! We’ll definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend you check it out!

If you're visiting from the Midwest, make sure to seek out dishes that highlight the local flavors. This place is definitely on our list for a return visit. The staff was friendly and quick to refill our coffee. The portion sizes were generous, and we were certainly not disappointed by the food. There's a great variety on the menu as well. I can't wait to go to Grandma's!

I never leave here hungry. This place is wonderful. It kind of feels like I'm in a bedroom. Or a big living room. Many owls watching over you in here, all charming. The company is great, lots of visitors to make conversation with. Staff are lovely and hardworking. Can't come to Monterey without coming here!
