Tapatia Tienda La - Monterey

Fast and friendly. the people are soooo nice and the food was excellent..no complaints here...lol

We are from California and wanted authentic Mexican food. We ordered off the “normal menu”. After ordering our food I noticed a menu written in Spanish that had items that weren’t on the “normal” menu. I inquired with the waitress the difference. She informed me that was the “Spanish” menu. I asked her to bring it to me. She did and there were items such as “huevos rancheros”, and “lingua” “cabeza”. I was happy. THIS is what I wanted. I’m not a Spanish rice person but their rice was amazing. I don’t like restaurant enchiladas but theirs was tasty! Definitely try this place for authentic Mexican food.

Love this place, staff is friendly and food is great. Definitely feels authentic as can be! Remember to bring CASH!
