Gelateria Golosone - Monterosso Al Mare

We took pistachio gelato. We liked it but still not close to the ones we had in Milan or Bolzano

The owner is rude and impatient.

Scammed and excessively expensive! Run away ! I asked for a 2 scoop ice cream with lemon-basil and amarena flavor. The waitress didn't understand right away and added lemon flavor instead. We told her we didn't want that taste, but she pretended not to understand. (Which is impossible after telling him 3 times and showing him more). The waitress clearly took advantage of us, as she saw we were tourists. Plus, they're ridiculous balls: one ball is a third of a normal ball! We were also obliged to take at least 2 balls and we ended up paying €4.50 for 3 balls, so the equivalent of one ball.

The vendor was rude, the ice cream was good but overpriced in comparison to the average price and the lemon slushy just tasted sugar and was very disappointing. Good point though they have more flavours than other gelato shop around.

We had gelato every day in Italy, and this place did not disappoint. This is a cute gelato shop, with good service and not super crowded. The staff was very friendly. PPistachio is my go to flavor, and it was super creamy and delicious here. Nutella was also delicious.
