Belvedere - MONTEROSSO AL MARE

What a great find this place was. We got off the train At Monterosso al Mare and it was lunch time. We were lucky as it was getting busy. We got our table and a few minutes later the place was full. It was a wonderful meal, one of the best we had. I had the fish of the day and my wife the Octopus salad. Fantastic

We had a reservation for dinner here and are very glad we did as the place filled in quickly. We had a table overlooking the beach and the food was amazing. We had the mixed seafood for two and it was fabulous. The service was also excellent.

I had the seafood pasta. It was amazing! The best pasta I’ve ever had! I don’t like mussels and the waiter was very accommodating asking the chef if they could take them off the plate. My boyfriend had the octopus plate. It was very fresh! I don’t like octopus, I tried it and I loved it! Highly recommended!!

We were here 5 years ago and really enjoyed the homemade pasta, but this year (as others have said below) the staff was overwhelmed. The waitress brought out both courses together and was not friendly at all

A very nice restaurant in a great location overlooking the sea. We ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the food and local wine. Service tends to be slow but as we were not in a rush it didn’t bother us greatly.
