Feedback gevenA perfect introduction to Monterrey. First we were seated in a cool pleasant room on a hot night. They brought us homemade fresh chips and salsa, cold Carta Blanca beer, a cup of caldo tlalpeño, the red broth with garbanzo beans and bits of shredded chicken. We wanted to try all the local specialties, so we got tacos de cabrito and of machaca con huevos, and the dessert special, pay de guayaba. It was all really, really good.
Hace unos años, la amiga de mi mamá me presentó a este restaurante. Hemos vuelto una y otra vez. Me encanta este restaurante. El servicio siempre es excelente y la comida es deliciosa. Me encanta el café de olla que ofrecen aquí.
The outside of La Divina does not look too promising but once through the door, it changes. Good food. The menu is in Spanish so this could be a bit of a challenge. Strongly recommended
This restaurant is very close to the landing location of the boats coming from the Fundidora . It has a very cool atmosphere with stone walls on the inside, traditional Mexican music playing. The staff was very helpful with our group in bringing food quickly and we're very prompt in refilling our drinks. We ordered several dishes and shared among the table. The locals in our group had never been here but all said that they would be back.
The chicharron rib eye was the best I had in Monterrey. The service was top quality, always friendly and always available. The ceviche tostadas were also good, as well as the fideo tacos. To drink we had micheladas, which were also very good.
