Little Donkey Mexican Montgomery

The restaurant didn't quite capture an authentic Mexican atmosphere, and the food was just mediocre. The portion sizes were decent, but I felt the prices were a bit high for the quality offered—our bill for two came to $36 plus tip. We went for dinner on a weekday, and the place was crowded, which suggests they might have better offerings than what I chose. I might consider visiting again, but for now, it's not high on my list of recommendations. We also experienced a long wait for our meals, as it took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive. On the bright side, I did enjoy the complimentary nachos and dip they provided.

The Smoked Chicken Quesadilla was incredible! The portions were generous, and the fresh guacamole on the side was complimentary! The customer service was outstanding as well. As a Realtor who often eats in my car, I ordered to-go, and I was pleasantly surprised by the staff checking on me multiple times to make sure I had everything I needed while I waited for my food. The service was quick and attentive. This first visit definitely won’t be my last!

Usually, I don't give four stars on my first visit, but Little Donkey truly deserves it. Our waiter, Ian, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He is one of the best servers I've ever encountered. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious; you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. And don't miss out on trying the margarita with Prosecco—it's amazing!

This restaurant is amazing! The chips and salsa are the best I've ever tasted. The brisket grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious!

Sat at the bar Daniel and Rick had menus and waters down before we were even fully seated. We've been here several times, and it's always great, but the service and the food were above and beyond on this particular visit. Everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were deceptively filling. We always look forward to coming back, but this particular visit was 6 out of 5 stars.
