Beavers Pub - Monticello

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, and it was definitely a disappointment compared to last year. The food was terrible, and the prices were steep. The staff was polite, but one of them seemed a bit out of it. I won't be returning, which is a shame because this place has the potential to thrive in a small town.

I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss burger topped with eight slices of mushrooms, but I didn’t receive any drink refills during my visit. Four stars? Seriously? This makes me question the two-and-a-half star rating for the other restaurant in town...

The food was decent, and the fried chicken was fantastic; however, the restaurant could use a thorough cleaning. Everything, from the tables to the salt and pepper shakers, felt sticky from smoke or grease. I was under the impression that smoking in public establishments was illegal, yet that's not the case here, as a sign on the door indicates that smoking is allowed.
