Taco John's - Monticello

The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly! I ordered two hard shell tacos and two soft shell tacos, and both were served hot and fresh. I particularly love their hot sauce— I usually take a container for each taco! Next time, I plan to try their street tacos.

Quick and friendly service with a smile! I even noticed the staff cleaning the walls while we dined. As we were leaving, they recognized us and wished us a great night. You don't often experience this level of service at a fast food restaurant. Kudos to the employees who were working during our visit!

We've visited this restaurant several times, and while our experiences have generally been enjoyable, one employee truly stood out. Dan was exceptionally friendly, greeting everyone with a smile and ensuring that all guests felt welcomed. The service was prompt and efficient, and despite the busy atmosphere, he made it a point to check in on our meals and make sure everything was satisfactory. It was clear that he genuinely appreciated the customers. Thank you, Dan!

Ordered to go. Food was good. Staff Fyi I had a promo code for 25 off. Order taken person said can do it on the register which I appreciated (one less step for me didn 't need QR code from my phone, Yet, receipt was 20 , asked highest on register. Also said would be only 25 cents more off from 20 to 25 which the person offered to give me. BUT, after I left with my bag of food something didn 't ring right due to the whole 'talk of gettin rid of math right answers ' thing in schools... this is just an FYI: #1 Bill at $30 5 is $1.50 vs $0.25.: Probably would have been beneficial option for me, the customer, for the order person to have mentioned that with QR code would probably get the actual 25 off when couldn 't do it on the register. : I 'm not a frequent user of rewards apps. : thinking it would have been put in towards rewards also? Hopefully, this may be beneficial info for future customers that receive 25 off. : *The person who took the order was friendly, courteous efficient. The food preppers were super fast! Thumbs-up Only negative for us, was too much salt on the potaro Ole 's for my family. The food was hot excellent Taco John fair!!! Thank you to the TJ crew.
