Western Sizzlin - Monticello

Saturday evening Seafood Buffet sign, (before you paid) had items on it that were not on the Seafood Buffet. Crab Cakes among them. They couldn't keep the buffet in fish, shrimp and with no crab you could argue it was the No Seafood Buffet. They ran out of baked potatoes while we were there. Hard to know based on one visit but it seems to be badly mismanaged. The lone bright spot was our waitress Kayley. She was bearing the brunt of the customers complaints with a smile and a sweet apology. I'm not sure I would have had the patience to do that. She alone keep us from giving it 1 star.

Most of the food was bad, looked good but tastes bad, need new cooks or need more training

I would give 5 stars but the bathroom need to be fixed at least for then mens bathroom the mens bathroom smells like some one peed ever where the stalls need to be cleaned they got poop stains the door to the stall furthest away from the door is half broken if you lock it the top half moves and you can see a crack in the middle starting to form other than the bathrooms great feed they have amazing mashed potatoes and a great T bone this is my second time here and other than the bathrooms it’s a great restaurant and our server was very nice and made sure our drinks were filled

Was so happy to find this place. I wish there was still more of them. Food was good our server was great.
