Auberge Du Beau Lieu - Montivilliers

The restaurant is hidden at the rear of the Auberge and far more inviting than first appearances, would have you imagine. Offering a choice of menu's at set prices, and a varied selection à la carte. Service was excellent as was the quality of all the dishes chosen. Well worth a visit giving good value and quality.

We visited for a Sunday lunch , the room is cosy with an open fire at one end . Excellent choice of set menus although you'll be struggling if you're strictly vegetarian . I had excellent foie gras my wife's entree of poached egg with ham Jerusalem artichoke purée was delicious . Excellent beef followed then onto a good cheese course . Dessert was excellent with apple tart with salted caramel a clear winner . Presentation was excellent we had a very enjoyable afternoon . Service was good throughout but please note this is a place for a nice long relaxing lunch not a quick in out experience . We chose the 35€ four course ,there are cheaper menus or 45€ menu gets you lobster to begin as well . We'll definitely be back .
