La place de la babote est un endroit magique et nous avons passe un excellent moment sur la terrasse. Les plats etaient tres bien equilibres avec un tres grand respect des ingredients. A noter: un plat de legumes, vegan, absolutment delicieux.The babote square is a magical secluded place in Montpellier. We had an excellent lunch on the terrasse of il mercato.Food had very well judged tastes with a great respect for the ingredients.To be noted: an excellent vegan dish of vegetables, absolutely delicious.

Fixed price two or three course menus with a wide choice of food. Great service, great food, lovely location in a pretty, quiet pedestrian square away from the traffic. Crab salad, scallops, lime mousse in a chocolate sphere. Outstanding. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back for a third.

Nice wine and perfectly good 22 euro set meal . (2 courses.) Friendly service. I had the prawn linguine and my husband had duck. All well cooked.

We visited this restaurant this evening. We were just passing and it looked inviting. The food was very reasonable and very good. I would recommend.

A stones throw from the central square but far away from the commotion and crappy restaurants, this place sits in a quiet plaza and has a refined atmosphere. Sat inside but has a nice terrace for warmer weather. Had a nice piece of salmon served with fresh vegetables. Salmon was a bit undercooked. Overall tasted well and nice presentation. Service was ok though the language barrier could have contributed to this. No English menu but free wifi so you can translate yourself.
