A La Vieille Cheminee - Montréal

The Restaurant Is Closed Urgence Santé (ambulances) took the complete building and converted the rest of the building into a garage for their ambulances too bad the first resto A La Vieille Chemine was at the front of the building facing Jarry street and then Urgence Santé took more than half of the building and A La Vieille Chemine moved to the last place on the west side of the building and at present they are closed and phone number doesn't exist anymore, just too bad...

I have been to this restaurant over 20 times. There was a new lunch menu when I came on this day. I had the Tuna Tartar which was a new dish on the menu; Tuna Tartar is not my favourite dish however this was one of the best tartars I have tasted it was sincerely decadent. We also tried their famous Osso Bucco, it was delicious. I was very satisfied with my lunch meal because it was wonderful. It is very busy restaurant during lunch time because of the office buildings and the convenience of the parking lot off the highway. I have never been on a weekend but you certainly need reservation at this east end restaurant. I highly recommend a visit if you are in this area.

I came here with some friends for lunch. I started with a green salad which was very nice. I ordered the grilled cod with rice and vegetables. The cod was tasty however I found it a bit salty. The pizzas are delicious and so are their pastas. It is always a very busy restaurant in the area, great location right off the highway with a lot of parking. This restaurant is worth a special detour for a business lunch or even a romantic dinner. The service is also very pleasant and all waiters are all giving great service.

Went for birthday party , the restaurant is really, nice , fresh delicious food, service was impecable...Tony the owner really nice person, thank you Tony!

I came here with a friend for lunch. This time I tried something different. I started with their delicious green salad. For the main dish I had the veal chop with vegetables and roasted potatoes. Very nice chop. Overall nice lunch. I noticed it was busy for a Tuesday and the waitress was new so it was a bit slow. Other than that always a good choice for a business or friend lunch in a convenient location.
