Amir Restaurant - Montréal

We were surprised at the quality and quantity of food from Amirs. The family all loved it ... and we had left overs for later.

This was the absolute worst shawarma I have ever had. The chicken was cold! There was barely any chicken in the shawarma, they didn't care when they made it and barely listened to me when I was talking to them about what I wanted in it. It was a tiny shawarma. Overall this is not a good place!

We just arrived to Montreal and looked for a place to have lunch near our hotel. A young waiter behind a food counter helped us to explain some of the dishes. I chose the mixed meat dish. He put rice, french fries, shwarma, chiken, veal and lamb meats on top, some vegetables and hummus and mayonnaise. We ordered bottled water (it had the name of the restaurant on the label). We had baklava for dessert. The waiter treated us with the baklava taking it off the bill.The service was very good.The food was goodThe athmosphere was good.

We arrived on a late flight and this was the only thing that we found open near our AirBnB. My wife and I each had a kebab. They were fine. The door was busted and patrons had to enter and leave through a front open window. The dining area was dirty and so we ate in a nearby park. Unfortunately, I stopped in the restroom first which was unspeakable dirty. An unpleasant welcome to Montreal.
