Bocadillo - Montréal

Bypassing the long line at Schwarzs...I discovered this gem of a place....my arepa with beef avocado and plantains was so fresh hot and delicious...perfectly grilled...and my papelon drink was so refreshing....the gentlemen running this restaurant made great suggestions and were extremely polite and conscientious...my only regret is not getting to sample more !

Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. Great for lunch. No frills, just good food. Has a patio out back. Bring your appetite if you get the burger special.

We both had the arepas because arepas are divine and whenever I locate a Venezuelen restaurant I need my fix. The mechada (beef) with cheese was delicious but it was a bit sad literally just beef and cheese, no avocado salsa or lettuce. My friend had the passion fruit pork and commented the same, the pork was very good but with nothing else it was a bit samey.We also had taquenos as we were starving waiting for the arepas and these were good, but totally outshone by the garlicky sauce that accompanied them! They should bottle this. (Go easy for a first date it is very garlicky).

I went out to Bocadillo and it was THE best Venezuelan food place I have ever been to The arepas are extremely tasty and also the tequeños I am definitely going back there again very soon

Can't go wrong for lunch or dinner, the whole menu is absolutely delicious!!! Love the areas sandwiches and their burgers, salad and fried yuca are amazing!
