Dorval Pizza - Montréal

We decided to end our moving day with pizzas and chose this restaurant because one of our friends knew some people there. The restaurant was small and old in a charming way. The pizzas were stacked and reasonably priced. The pizza tasted just as it looked - not fancy, but satisfying after a long day of moving. As an added bonus, the staff gave us extra cheese and a side of fries because of our friend's connection.

I ordered two pita sandwiches with onion rings and was surprised when the bill came to around $24, including a tip for the driver, making it close to $28. However, I was disappointed to find that the pita sandwiches had very little meat - only three small slices of beef, as thin as a US dime. I ended up eating mostly bread, lettuce, and sauce. The onion rings were good, which is why they earned a 1-star rating. I would only recommend this place if you can see exactly what you're getting, otherwise, I suggest saving your money. I was too frustrated to take a picture of my disappointing meal.

As a customer of 3 years, I've never been so disappointed in a order until this evening. First, I ordered a small spaghetti, which is like the size of a large poutine, with no cheese, due to dietary problems. When it arrives, I see they made it spaghetti gratin after I specified no cheese. After remove the thick greasy layer of melted cheese, I go on to taste the spaghetti and it's over cooked, so over cooked to the point it's the consistency of baby food. The sauce is bland and lacks in flavour; also it's disappointing that they do not offer a vegetarian sauce for their spaghetti for those who may seek more vegetarian options. With the lack of flavour, over cooked pasta, lack of properly filling specified order and serving unreasonable and unrealistic portion sizes; It's an absolute disappointment. Post edit: Had severe heart burn all night after eating here. Do not recommend.

I have ordered here a few times. Pizza is very good, nice thick crust, good amount of cheese (quality cheese) and the sauce. I tried the spaghetti, I also enjoyed that. Delivery time was good. On a side note, they do sell you 1 pizza at a time, not like that rude review below. Alan

I gave them several chances and ordered other items too besides the pizza and guess what everything is either stale or weird tasting. I think they use substandard ingredients and take too long to deliver I would not order anything from this place. Careless, irresponsible and lazy operator and poor staff. Avoid this place at any cost.
